How much does it cost to see a nutritionist in Australia?

If you are ready for sustainable change, to improve your relationship with food and achieve long term healthy eating habits that will benefit your overall health and wellbeing, then you have come to the right place. I offer a range of nutrition and dietetic services that are tailored to each individual client. No meal plans to follow, no fad diets – just healthy and balanced eating, backed by science.

I am a registered and Accredited Practicing Dietitian, which means my services are covered by Medicare Australia. I have experience working in both hospital and community settings and am able to provide you with the latest evidence based practice. I can help with a wide variety of issues including weight loss, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), digestive issues, food intolerances (both artificial and natural) and hormone imbalances.

A member of the Australian Dietetic Association Nutritionist Adelaide, Lara has been an Accredited Practicing Dietitian for 14 years, and has worked in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. Lara is a dedicated and creative dietitian with a passion for women’s and children’s nutrition. She has a strong interest in using local produce, reducing waste and supporting the community. She also enjoys facilitating workshops and developing recipes for a variety of online women’s health platforms and food businesses.

She has extensive clinical experience and is the author of an article on the use of immununutrition for patients undergoing oesophageal cancer surgery. Her other areas of expertise include gastrointestinal issues such as reflux, achalasia and motility disorders, GI malnutrition, IBS, functional dyspepsia, and implementation of low FODMAP diet.

She has a passion for helping her clients achieve their goals, whatever they may be. She has a holistic approach and uses her skills, knowledge and education to make positive changes in people’s lives, whilst taking into account their personal circumstances. She focuses on the whole person, treating their clinical condition first, before prescribing a diet. She has a special interest in pregnancy, breastfeeding and infant feeding.
